9/8/05: Cosmetic repairs to teak rails

8/8/05: Repaired mainsail top batten slug

8/8/05: Repaired cabin top winch

8/8/05: Repaired jib furler

6/14/05: Replace cover on spinnaker sheets

5/20/15: Replace jib halyard after cover let go upwind at the clutch

5/7/2005: new vang line and new furling line.

4/4/2005: Damage to mainsheet swivel, replaced

4/4/2005: Torn 2A kite

3/19/2005: Broken tack clutch. Torn 4A Kite

3/12/2005: Passed measurement with 200lbs extra lead, ready to race

2/26/2005: Failed floatlines - need to add 200lbs lead

2/5/2005: Akula delivered from Svendsens, repairs complete

1/29/2005: Akula splashed at Svendsens. A few tidy-up jobs and then we'll be ready to roll!

1/10/2005: Martec prop removed for repair due to excessive wear. 1/22 Update - prop cannot be repaired due to cracks in the forks. Replacement ordered from Martec.

1/10/2005: Elected to bevel the keel and rudder trailing edge to 45 degrees half way through the section. The idea is to reduce the audio vibration without damaging the upwind performance. Details here.

1/10/2005: Repairs to Mr. Magoo's impact zone, Alchemy's pole socket crack and the removed toe rail scars started.

1/7/2005: Akula hauled at Svendsens for paint and keel work.

1/2/2005: Added electric bilge pump to increase safety and clear the bilge during races.

1/2/2005: Removed toe rail section to improve hiking comfort.

1/2/2005: Straightened stanchions and inspected lifelines

1/2/2005: Inspected and tested EPIRB

1/2/2005: Serviced winches
